Guyana Safari Experience

Travel to Guyana and experience its amazing wildlife, wonderful sights, and friendly people. Available by request only, our safaris allow you to see a wide range of wonderful, exotic animals in their natural habitat.

  • 10 day safari holidays
  • See rare and endangered animals
  • Visit remote Amerindian villages
  • Visit the world’s tallest single drop waterfall

Our safaris are slightly softer trips for those who still have the adventurer in them and want to get off the beaten track, but still want a bed and a cold beer at night! There is plenty of everything on this Safari.

Ask us for a detailed safari itinerary to learn about exactly what we’ll be getting up to – you can enquire about any of our trips by filling out one of our online contact forms.

Guyana Safari

Our Guyana Safari is a trip designed for people who don’t want to rough it quite as much as on a normal Bushmasters adventure. You’ll get to see all the cool sights of Guyana: Kaieteur Falls, Iwokrama, the Rupununi Wetlands, Amerindian communities, Savannah ranches, and of course the pristine, primary rainforest that covers 80% of the country.

Guyana’s wildlife is as varied as it is amazing and consists of many rare and endangered species. There’s no guarantee you’ll see a specific animal but Guyana is home to thousands of species such as:

  • Anaconda (The heaviest snake in the world)
  • Caiman (Crocodile type reptiles)
  • Bushmasters (World’s largest viper)
  • Giant Anteaters
  • Giant Armadillos
  • Giant Otters
  • Giant River Turtles
  • Harpy Eagles (Largest raptor in the world)
  • Jaguars (Biggest cat in the Americas)
  • Macaws (Scarlet, Red and Green, Blue and Yellow)
  • Monkeys (Capuchin, Spider and Howler)
  • Piranhas
  • Sloths
  • Toucans

Each time we aim to do something a little different, while still inclluding all the main highlights of Guyana.

You’ll spend most nights in a bed, though there is the occasional night in a hammock and travel will be by plane, boats, and 4x4s. It’s not exactly a 5 star hotel, but there’s no carrying 60lb packs on your back!

Again, our safari trips run on a request only basis so contact us if you’re interested.

Belize & Jordan

We can run the same safari style trips to Belize and Jordan. Sail small boats off the cayes of the Belize Barrier Reef or ride horses into the ancient city of Petra. Whatever you feel like we can come up with some awesome ideas for you
