Bushmasters can arrange a trip just for you or a group of friends incorporating all the fun and adventure of the Amazon. Trek through the jungle, paddle dug out canoes, fish for piranha, drive in 4x4's across the savannahs, round up the cows on the ranch...whatever you want we can plan it into an adventure just for you.
Your trip can be as tough or as easy as you want it. Aim to carry your pack over jungle clad mountains, cutting your own trail 8 hours a day or stay overnight in a comfortable lodge, whatever level you want we can provide.

Training
This course takes you to the remote, pristine jungles of Guyana, in South America. With a Bushmasters instructor and the vast knowledge of two senior local Amerindian guides you will learn just how easy and how much fun it is to live in the jungle.
We will take you through in detail all you need to know, including dodging dead-fall and how to use a machete and not have to patch yourself or someone else up. We will identify what the real jungle hazards are as opposed to the Hollywood myths, and the basics of survival if all goes wrong.
This trip is an on demand course only. It is also geared towards your specific needs so the content and duration are unique for each group. It is directed towards those who wish to become expedition leaders, or who have to work in a jungle environment, maybe as a scientist, TV researcher or similar. As well as all the normal jungle skills, we'll also talk about expedition planning from logistics to casualty evacuation and risk assessments plus a host of other skills that any jungle leader will need to know.
By the end you'll have all the basic skills you need, but you must then gain the experience and put these skills into practice as often as you can.

This is not a typical soft corporate event, with tea and coffee on tap and daily little chats to discuss what you learnt about yourself and your team. At the end of the day it will be hard to shut people up with all the stories of what they've done and learnt each day!
