Outline Brief
Designed to hit all the Bushmasters buttons, but with none of the blood, sweat or tears. No need to hunt your own food, or carry a 50lb pack, this is RELAXED adventure.
On this 19 day trip we will take you deep into the Amazon jungle and savannahs of South America. With a Bushmasters instructor and Amerindian guides, you'll explore all the best of the "Lost World".
Throughout the safari you'll be living in positive luxury compared to the tougher Bushmasters adventures. We'll have our own cook throughout, be flown in and out of the pristine wilderness in light aircraft, travel in 4x4 vehicles, stay in local lodges or in comfortable jungle and savannah camps, and cover a vast array of what Guyana has to offer.
You'll visit and stay in a number of traditional Amerindian villages. Paddle in dug out canoes down jungle rivers, fish for piranha, drink water from vines, search the rainforest canopy for monkeys and hopefully see a host of other wildlife including, Giant Otters, Macaws, Anaconda, Sloth, massive 15ft Black Caiman, Capybara, maybe even a Jaguar or Puma.
In stark contrast from the virgin rainforest we will also explore the bordering savannahs, home to the myths and legends of 'El Dorado' and now the Makushi and Wapishana Amerindians.
After a trip to Kaieteur Falls (the highest single drop waterfall in the World) it would just be about time to watch the sun set and drink a cold beer whilst swapping stories off your adventure and maybe planning the next one!?
