Visit the jungle with no other agenda than to experience the rainforest and have some fun doing it. None of the 'can I make it?' thoughts of a survival course or 'I don’t want to break down in the middle of the river' panics of a 4x4 adventure. Escapes are all about exploring remote areas and taking in as much of the wildlife and stunning jungle sights as possible but in a laidback fun nature.
Escape by River
A water based trip where you could be traveling into the jungle by a variety of methods including raft, traditional dug-out canoe, or engine boat. Maybe you will make flotation packs out of your rucksacks and swim/float down river if you are up for it.
Escape Overland
Trekking to remote areas, where few, if any have been before. As waterways are the highways of the jungle, heading inland is a certain way to get off the beaten track (not that there is one out here – only traditional hunting tracks of the indigenous people). But even so, we never go to the same area twice.
